This is because we come from a different world (Ning) - and our site is very much the way it was over on the other platform. So things here make sense to our users. So first things' first... What are these 'Swijits™' you are seeing here at SiteSuites?

Swijits™ is actually an acronym meaning 'Smart Widget Intelligent Java-Injected Transport System' or you could say it means: SmartWidgets - SuperWidgets - SiteWidgets - ScriptWidgets, SocialWidgets, ah, you get the point.

Swijits™ is a cool, new method of delivering script add-ons to your network in a basic widget format. But with some very different results from the 'widgets' you're used to.

Swijits™ don't require any installation and does not interact with underlying PHP. So security is not compromised. In fact - you hardly need to have any technical skill whatesoever to get Swijits™ up-and-running on your network.

There is also no activation delay and minimal breakage (if any) common to traditional scripting.

Swijits™ are widgets - yet much more advanced. They are as non-invasive as regular widgets and therefore - completely safe to use. Swijits work on the 'browser level' rather than the 'system level', appear to integrate transparently into your network - and work like legitimate features. Your members will not know that you have 3rd party add-on's running.

Swijits™ allow us to continue to develop add-ons that integrate with your network because we can pass your user variables through the Swijits™ Engine transparently.

Being network owners ourselves, we know what you want. Because of this, Swijits™ are completely white-label and are configurable and customizable. They only require 1 line of code added to your analytics box (on Ning) or admin_footer.tpl (on Social Engine) and are enabled and disabled from our backend admin called the SMS (Swijits™ Management System) on our external servers.
